Happy 242nd Birthday, United States Army!

| Read Our Blog Read Our Blog Blog Happy 242nd Birthday, United States Army! Bridget Altenburg June 15, 2017 Veterans Forward 0 Well Army, it’s your birthday again. 242 years robust. 242 years of uniforms starting from rags to Kevlar. 242 years of sustaining vehicles from horses to tanks. 242 years of serving in squalor from Trenton to Fort Polk. 242 years of troopers raising their proper hand and swearing an oath to guard and serve our constitution. So, at 242 years old, here's a tribute to the Army and all the issues I realized from it: 1. How to change in a sleeping bag. 2. How to “wash” my hair with out water. three. How to alter a truck tire with a decide ax. four. How to be ready for absolutely anything. 5. How to pack. 6. How to don a protective masks in 9 seconds. 7. How to make fun of the United States Air Force. 8. How to beat concern. 9. How to blow stuff up. 10. How to make one of the best of any state of affairs. But the most important thing I realized as a soldier is: tips on how to work with just about anybody and get the job done no matter the circumstances or obstacles. Happy Birthday United States Army. Thanks for every thing you’ve given me. -US Army Officer and National Able Network Chief Operating Officer, Bridget Altenburg Your email handle is not going to be revealed.
